The Education Learning Community (ELC) is open to incoming freshmen declared as pre-education majors & SECD/FLED minors.The program is designed to foster students’ passion for teaching, provide networking opportunities, and ease the transition to university life. Members build a sense of community by taking a one-credit ELC seminar course each semester, participating in community service, and visiting regional schools and cultural centers. They also have the option of living with other ELC members in Lynch Hall, conveniently located directly behind the Student Union.
